Sea Recovery - Aqua Whisper Modular

     The Aqua Whisper Modular has an adaptable installation system, bringing dependable watermaking capabilities to virtually any power or sail boat. All of the components needed for reverse osmosis desalination are custom installed by placing them in any available space on board. Boats as small as 25 ft. (8m) are now capable of making fresh, clean water at a rate between 450 and 1800 U.S. gallons (1,703 and 6,814 litres) per day!

The Aqua Whisper Modular (AWM) is extremely adaptable to various installations bringing dependable watermaking capabilities to virtually any power or sail boat. All of the components needed for reverse osmosis desalination are custom installed by placing them in any available space onboard. Boats as small as 25 feet (8m) are now capable of making fresh, clean water at a rate between 450 and 1800 U.S. gallons (1,703 and 6,814 liters) per day!
Aqua Whisper Modular watermaker
The Aqua Whisper Modular adapts to tight quarters such as under berths or settees, as well as closets and in engine rooms. The Aqua Whisper Module comes with an attractive powder coated white Control Panel, which may be wall mounted or flush mounted through a bulkhead. The Aqua Whisper Module is powered by vessels equipped with AC generators.

  • Dedicated heavy duty Magnetic Latching Relays for each motor integrated in the system allows for the Booster Pump to operate independently for system priming, flushing, and cleaning.
  • A Soft Motor Starter is also available for AC powered systems that reduces start up power by 60% allowing operation from smaller sized generators, and starting with other auxiliary equipment already on line.
  • New High rejection / High yield membrane element that produces higher quality product water.
  • The AWM is shipped from the factory ready to install and function. There are no optional items required, and a complete installation kit is also included, along with a comprehensive and detailed Owners Operation & Maintenance Manual.

  • A comprehensive manual with exploded part views and connection drawings for installation, operation, maintenance, and other pertinent guidelines.
    • Fiberglass Reinforced High Pressure Membrane Vessel eliminates corrosion, is stronger, and more durable. Commercial grade Membrane Element yields higher recovery with greater rejection for more water of higher quality in a shorter package. Double O-ring sealed high pressure side ports further reduce length and ensure trouble free, leak proof operation.
    • The Whisper Quiet Stainless Steel High Pressure Pump is specifically designed for Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Applications. The unique design of this High Pressure Pump reduces noise level to a negligent hum, and carries a five-year warranty.
    • The Compact Design reduces installation space and provides more water in a smaller foot print.
    • Micro Processor Controlled Electronics provide state of the art technology and reliability with weekly Automatic Fresh Water Flush Timing (optional), and sequential starting of electric motors with manual override. User controls are mounted on a water proof touch pad with LED System operating condition, fault indication, and Salinity Meter readout. Remote Controls are also available.
    • 16 oz. of Marine Grade Crankcase Oil provides longevity of the high pressure pump.

    PRODUCT WATER TEMPERATURE: Ambient to feed water temperature

    SALINITY MONITORING: Automatic electronic monitoring. Temperature compensated with the solid state continuous "Bar LED" readout. The salinity monitoring components of the system give a continuous TDS readout in micromhos per cubic centimeter, are temperature compensated and of a fail safe design.

    SALINITY RANGE: Designed for Seawater use up to 50,000 PPM TDS (NaCl) (typical seawater salinity is 35,000 ppm)
